Hand-milled Soap with Marcy Stewart

  • Ananda Hills Farm & Fibers 553 Embody Rd Port Ludlow, WA, 98365 United States (map)

Join us to learn about making beautiful, custom hand-milled soaps from kitchen and garden ingredients. Hand-milled soaps are a two-step process—a base soap is made, and once cured it is melted and scents, colors and additives are added. The soap can then be poured into molds and will cure as a long-lasting, luxurious product. In this class you’ll be learning both parts of the process. Cured base soap will be provided so that the second step can be practiced and a final product taken home. Please bring essential oils, dried flowers or any other ingredients you’d like to add to your soap. There will also be some materials available from the farm.
